Mr. Berger concentrates his practice in real estate law, general corporate representation, business reorganizations and work-out transactions and personal injury law.

Mr. Berger assists clients in all facets of real estate transactions, concentrating in acquisitions and sales of a variety of commercial properties, including retail, industrial, office buildings and residential subdivisions. He is also experienced in transactions involving tax increment financing, industrial revenue bonds and tax-free and tax-deferred exchanges. His real estate clientele ranges from individual investors to corporate developers and real estate investment trusts.

Mr. Berger represents a variety of corporate clients. He advises those clients on day-to-day management and legal issues, long range planning, contractual issues, shareholder matters and mergers and acquisitions.

In Mr. Berger’s business reorganization practice, he regularly advises clients on business planning and restructures. He has successfully negotiated numerous work-out solutions on behalf of debtor clients with vendors, lenders and other creditors. Mr. Berger was lead attorney on one of the largest personal and corporate bankruptcies filed in the Eastern District of Missouri.

Mr. Berger graduated from Washburn University School of Law in Topeka, Kansas in 1979. He is a member of the Missouri Bar Association and the Bar Association of Metropolitan St. Louis and St. Louis County.
